Quote requests
A quote request is an enquiry, not an order. We phone you to see whether we can take the job. It involves no payment and does not book a visit.
Finishing deposits
Each PayPal payment is a deposit for one named finishing job. It is credited in full and buys one visit of up to four hours of finishing labour on that job at the UK address you gave, plus a written note of anything still to do.
- Snag-list clear-up — £350.00. A deposit for one visit of up to four hours on that job at the UK address you supply, credited in full against the work.
- Second-fix joinery tidy — £420.00. A deposit for one visit of up to four hours on that job at the UK address you supply, credited in full against the work.
- Walls & ceilings finish — £380.00. A deposit for one visit of up to four hours on that job at the UK address you supply, credited in full against the work.
- Move-in & handover touch-up — £320.00. A deposit for one visit of up to four hours on that job at the UK address you supply, credited in full against the work.
We agree a visit date with you in writing after payment, subject to access and to the postcode being one we can reasonably reach. Paying does not reserve a time on the day you pay.
Remaining amount = quoted extra labour + quoted extra materials
The deposit is never charged twice. If you do not accept a later quote, the remaining amount is £0. If more work is needed after the included visit, we send a written quote first showing the hourly rate, estimated extra hours and any materials. Extra work starts only once you accept it.
The service begins when we start the included visit at your address, or when we start the written remaining-works note if the visit cannot go ahead. Paying on PayPal does not by itself start the service or book a date.
Payments
Payments are taken by PayPal. We never collect card numbers, cardholder names, expiry dates or security codes, and payment records are held in PayPal.
Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel within 14 days from the day after PayPal captures your payment by emailing info@posteritystudio.com or using the model form on Cancellation & refunds. If we have not started, you get a full refund through PayPal within 14 days of your notice. If you asked us to start within the 14 days, we may deduct a fair amount for work already done. The right to cancel ends once the included visit has been fully carried out at your request within that period.
Our responsibility
We carry out work with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer or our liability where it cannot lawfully be limited.
